Getting Here
Getting to Anderson Lake Retreat is a unique and exciting adventure in itself!
Located less than two-hours north of Whistler, take the Sea-to-Sky Highway (Hwy 99) north to Pemberton. From Pemberton, continue north on Hwy 99 until you reach Mt. Currie. Once in Mt. Currie, continue strait through the town (DO NOT turn right on Hwy 99/Duffy Lake Road). Continue for approximately 40 minutes to the town of D'Arcy. From D'Arcy you take a remote backcountry road to access our property. Specific instructions will be provided upon booking.

Car
If you're traveling by car, it's important to note that we require you to be pre-approved by us to ensure you have the proper vehicle for the remote mountain road that begins in D'Arcy. A high-clearance All-Wheel or 4-Wheel Drive vehicle is necessary for the steep, dirt road that winds through hills and valleys and around Anderson Lake. The drive is very beautiful and adventurous, but it's essential that you are comfortable driving backcountry roads.

Boat
If you have your own boat, you are welcome to use it. Otherwise, we can arrange a water taxi from the public dock in D'Arcy, located about 45 minutes north of Pemberton. The cost for a water taxi is approximately $150 each way, and the boat ride takes about 20 minutes, depending on weather conditions. Upon arrival by boat, the main lodge is a few minutes' walk from the beach or if requested, our ATV can transport you and your luggage to the lodge.
Other Methods Of Transportation
For special occasions, we can arrange transportation by helicopter, floatplane, or ground transportation from Whistler or Vancouver Airport. All transportation charges will be customized based on the situation.
Book your stay at Anderson Lake Retreat and get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
